Every now and then things tend to irritate me about the community...but since its such a close-knit group you can't release your feelings in a snakepit.

I don't even know why any forum, small ones notwithstanding, would even bother to make a so-called "snake pit". All that is going to be garnered from facelessly bitching where at least 50 people can see it is a shitstorm of even MORE complaining. Mostly about insensate things because one person always thinks they know more than another.
Could be worse: You could be jumping into a Yahoo news article where people are just waiting to deliberately make any thread of comments into a 500-post string of religion vs atheism and politics bashing.
I do agree with all those little posts you made up there, though. People use naked women as their avatars on YouTube enough, and that's only to funnel attention to their otherwise empty channel.
