I would have a title but it seems blogspot wants to translate it...sorry I don't speak scribble.

anyway...Just been thinking about how far sternutation has come commercially. from trading via snail mail to fetish websites selling vhs to the call girl atmosphere of keen.com all the way to current with clips4sale and youtube, it's been amazing on the growth of resources. Now with anything commercialized...there comes in the who "do you get what you pay for?" scenario.

I use clips4sale. i love it...sometimes I really want to build a store
there as I love to film and have ideas that would so rock...but i'm too chicken to look for models. Hows that for a blessing and a curse?

A lot of people have asked about quiality of stuff there, as most is just porn/fetish people usually asked by people to sneeze, and by not knowing what a sternutist really likes, sometimes comes out with something that isn't well received, and then they don't make another. Worse yet, a store/model gets overstocked and demanded by the usual shark community and ends up discouraging the author from creating more. Currently there are a lot of stores, very good stores, that have not updated in several months, a few because the above situation. Nevertheless, there is still a good selection of material there.

So how to tell what is good and what isn't?

Well, first up what is good and what isn't really is up to the person getting the video, isn't it. One person likes watching the nose, another the eyes. But one thing for certaion, most C4S clips are at least $1 per minute of clip, sometimes more, so what i do there is measure dollar for sneeze. Usually the smaller 2-3 minute clips will have some nice fits...but really, if I'm gonna pay $26 for a 20 minute film, I would expect to have at least one per minute, or 20 total(10 in the first 3 minutes and then 10 at the last 5 is not unreasonable, the middle could be something else). This seems to be the norm in more of the stores with a wide selection of clips.

I'll write more on this and even give a list of my favorite clips in a later post.

I'll be hanging online tonight checking out some more material too, first time in a while i've been able to hang on the messengers and chat.

I hadn't realized how much would change as far as my web hosting service in 5 years. Yahoo! has not only their daily download limit, but has implemented an hourly limit as well.

Basically if more than 5 megs are downloaded in an hour, the web page gets suspended for a while. The day I put up the announcement, it maxed out the hourly bandwith 8 times.

This could be a problem once things get running, since multimedia is the bane of it's existance.

I've got a couple of ideas...Savefile and Youtube have turned out to be the SF communities' best friends when it comes to posting files, that may be a way to get through this.

course the obvious one is to go to a pay-site, get some more bandwith and be done with that...and I know that your personal information doesn't have to be shown publically...so it could be an option in the future.

Moment of Zen...if a tree sneezes in the forest and no one is around to bless it, does it's soul get to roam free?

Let's just dive dive dive...

Hello,

You've reached my blog. How the Hell are you?

So wait...you got two blogs on two forums...what the hell do you need a third for?

That's a very good question, Billy. I'd better put on my patented Stuponitron helmet! Prepare to activate!

Ok, serious. I'd figure I'd use this for more open feelings about this fetish that continues to have a katahajime on me and refuses to let go.

Right now I'm working on finding the rest of the pieces from the original websire of SFO. I'm really amazed at the amount of interest that has started. I never really knew just how much the site was for some people who, prior to finding the site, felt they were alone in the world when it came with an interest. I always love hearing stories about people when they find out otherwise, it reminds me of my first time way back when reading on a listserver someone asking if other people had a fetish.

Although I could do away with the trading of cassette tapes through mail...which reminds me, I really need to move my analog library to digital.

till next time!
